Scene 1 – The Strange Feeling in the Sky

The airplane rumbled softly as it climbed higher into the sky.

Milo pressed his face against the window, watching the clouds drift below them.

Milo: “We’re above the clouds!”

Nova smiled.

Nova: “Everything looks so small from up here.”

Suddenly—

Milo blinked and grabbed his ear.

Milo: “Uh… wait…”

He swallowed.

Milo: “Why do my ears feel weird?”

He opened his mouth wide and moved his jaw.

Milo: “It feels like something’s pushing inside my head.”

Dr. Zaptain looked up from his seat and nodded thoughtfully.

Dr. Zaptain: “Ah. Your ears are reacting to the air pressure.”

Milo frowned.

Milo: “I don’t like what they’re reacting to.”
