The Shocking Door Handle
Milo gets a tiny shock from a door handle and thinks it’s attacking him. Dr. Zaptain reveals how invisible electric charges build up and suddenly jump as a spark.

The backyard had been officially renamed “The Jungle” by Milo.
Milo: “Careful, Nova. This area is full of rare and extremely dangerous insects.”
Nova stepped over a fallen branch and rolled her eyes.
Nova: “The only thing I see is one very dramatic explorer.”
Milo pushed through a bush and suddenly—
Milo: “Ow!”
He pulled his hand back quickly. A small cut appeared on his finger.
Milo: “Sharp branch. Definitely part of the jungle.”
Nova leaned closer.
Nova: “It’s just a tiny cut.”
Milo frowned.
Milo: “Yeah, but how does it just… fix itself later?”
Just then, Dr. Zaptain stepped outside, adjusting his glasses.
Dr. Zaptain: “Ah! A perfect field experiment.”

Milo: “Field experiment?”
Dr. Zaptain: “Your body has already started repairing that cut.”
Milo blinked.
Milo: “Already?”
