Scene 1 – The Moon on the Road

Warm evening air drifted through the open car windows as Nova, Milo, and Dr. Zaptain drove along a winding road between dark hills and old stone villages.

Crickets chirped loudly outside while the sky slowly filled with stars.

Milo pressed his face against the window.

Milo: “Okay… this is getting weird.”

Nova looked up from the map in her lap.

Nova: “What is?”

Milo pointed at the enormous moon glowing above the hills.

Milo: “The moon keeps following us.”

Nova watched silently for a moment.

The moon remained perfectly visible above the road ahead.

Nova: “It does look like it’s moving with us.”

Dr. Zaptain smiled softly from the front seat.

Dr. Zaptain: “An ancient mystery, Cadets.”

Milo narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the sky.

Milo: “I knew it. The moon is spying on us.”
