Scene 1 – The Floating Things

The lab was unusually quiet… until Nova noticed it.

A pencil slowly drifted upward, like it had forgotten gravity existed.

A sheet of paper followed, spinning gently through the air. Even a sticky note peeled itself off the table and floated upward.

Milo: “Okay… that’s not normal.”

Nova pointed toward the ceiling.

Nova: “Why is everything going up?”

Just then, Dr. Zaptain walked in, carrying a tray… which immediately started sliding upward out of his hands.

Dr. Zaptain: “My tray! It appears gravity has taken a short vacation.”

Milo: “So… we can float now?”

Dr. Zaptain adjusted his glasses.

Dr. Zaptain: “Let’s stay calm, Cadets. This is a job for science, not jumping.”
