Scene 1 – Are We Lost?
The path narrowed as Nova, Milo, and Dr. Zaptain walked deeper into the trees.
Tall branches stretched overhead, blocking most of the sunlight.
Milo looked around.
Milo: “This doesn’t look like the right way.”
Nova pulled out her phone and looked at the screen.
A small blue dot blinked on the map.
Nova: “We’re still on track. See? That’s us.”
Milo leaned closer.
Milo: “How does it know that?”
He pointed at the moving dot.
Milo: “We’re in the middle of nowhere.”
Dr. Zaptain smiled slightly.
Dr. Zaptain: “An excellent question.”
Nova zoomed in on the map.
The blue dot moved as they walked.
Nova: “It’s following us.”
Milo blinked.
Milo: “Okay… that’s a little creepy.”
