LET’S BEGIN
Scene 1 – The Great Escape
Mrs. Bloom had gone away for the afternoon, leaving Dr. Zaptain in charge of her cat, Whiskers.
Nova and Milo stopped by to help.
Milo: “How difficult can looking after one cat be?”
Almost on cue, Whiskers leaped gracefully onto the top of a tall bookcase.
Milo: “…I may have spoken too soon.”
Whiskers calmly looked down at everyone below.
Without warning…
She jumped.
Milo: “WHISKERS!”
The cat twisted through the air…
…and landed softly on all four paws.
Milo stared at the cat.
Milo: “She didn’t even look worried.”
